Chuck Ergenbright - Founder

COL(R) Ergenbright is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and Special Forces Officer with 30 years of military leadership experience, including 21 years as a Green Beret. He has served at nearly every level of command, leading operations across the Middle East and South America, as well as search and recovery operations at the Pentagon following the September 11, 2001 attacks. An accomplished executive and entrepreneur, COL(R) Ergenbright holds a U.S. patent for emergency response technology and serves as Founder & Executive Director of the International Network of Tailored Aid (INTA) and is also Founder & CEO of 11:11 Security Consulting LLC. His proven leadership, organizational management, and operational experience provide INTA and the NOWScouts with exceptional program oversight, capacity and capability.

Andrew Reed - Founder (1st Scout)

Andrew is known for many things, but primarily for his music and expert organizational work, and especially in Hospice. He is a critically acclaimed songwriter/studio guru/guitar whiz with Universal/Virgin Music Group under WorldSound/Artists International, with numerous Billboard and other global charting successes with his own releases, as well as a producer of other artists. He is also the founder and CEO of Mult-View Incorporated. Reed also has a unique Podcast, "What Are You Willing to Throw Your Life Away On?" where he liberally shares ultra-practical advice and ideas as well as philosophical explorations on the topic of Life itself! After living through multiple natural disasters, and with over a decade on the seas of Alaska as a commercial fisherman and extensive time (and hardship) in the bush, Andrew is TOTALLY COMMITTED to the NOWScouts. 

Ron Jillard - Chairman

Ron is Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Real Capital Group, and Founder & Executive Chairman of the International Network of Tailored Aid (INTA). He draws upon more than two decades of executive and operational leadership experience spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He holds a B.A. in Peace, War and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.B.A from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Damone Brown - Chairman

Damone is a former US Army Green Beret, Ranger, and Special Forces Combat Diver with a distinguished military career that includes multiple deployments to Afghanistan and South America. He has been awarded medals for heroic actions in combat.  

Despite holding a bachelor’s degree, Damone enlisted in the Army two months after 9/11, driven by a desire to engage directly in combat. Much of his leadership experience was shaped by earning the U.S. Army Ranger Tab and Special Forces Green Beret, and serving in the elite 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). During his last tour in Afghanistan, he was injured in an IED explosion and diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Damone has served in various positions within the Department of Defense, including roles as a contractor at the US Army Asymmetric Warfare Group and the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Bernie Bullock III - Marketing (2nd Scout)

With dual degrees in marketing and design, Bernie brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and product development. He’s worked with some of the top companies in the country like Verizon Wireless and IBM running national ad campaigns. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous design and community awards, reflecting both his creativity and his commitment to service.

Bernie also has a background in fitness, as well as bringing strong hands-on auto mechanical skills to the table. Which allows him to contribute in diverse and practical ways. He is deeply grateful and honored to use his experience and skill set to make a meaningful impact with the NOWScouts.

His introduction to disaster relief came during Hurricane Helene in 2024, where he witnessed firsthand the powerful way communities come together in times of crisis to support one another.

CW4 (R) Michael A. Bergstrom - Chairman

CW4 Bergstrom joined the Army in 1991 and served in 7th ID, 101st ABN Div, 6th ID, 172nd Infantry Brigade, 82nd ABN Div, 7th Special Forces Group Airborne United States Special Operations Command South (USSOCSOUTH), Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), and 1st Special Forces Command Airborne.

CW4 Bergstrom’s awards include the Legion of Merrit, two Bronze Star Medals with “V” Device, five Bronze Star Service Medals, two Meritorious Service Medal’s, one JSAM, one JCOM, one DMSM, two ARCOM’s, four AAM’s, four Good Conduct Medals, two National Defense Service Medals, Afghanistan Campaign Medals with four stars, one Global War On Terrorism Medal, three NCOPD Ribbons, one Army Service Ribbon, one Overseas Ribbon, two NATO Medals, Presidential Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Citation, Special Forces Tab, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge Master Parachutist Badge, and the Air Assault Badge. 

Robert Sidell, Psy.D., ACC - Chairman

Dr. Bobby Sidell holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and has decades of experience as an operational psychologist, consultant, and certified executive coach with the United States Army Special Operations. He has provided individual and organizational consultation to elite military units, including the Army Green Berets, Navy SEALs, Marine Raiders, and Tier I Special Mission Units, on both classified and unclassified missions. He has notably served as the lead psychologist for several missions, playing a crucial role in the healthy reintegration and optimal functionality of Americans returning home after years of captivity in countries such as Afghanistan, North Korea, and Russia.

Dr. Sidell specializes in evidence-based processes for evaluating and selecting elite performers, performance enhancement, organizational consultation, strategic planning, and executive leadership coaching.

His work has benefited elite military units in the Department of Defense and professional sports teams. He has advised on the evaluation processes of elite performers and senior personnel, emphasizing the critical roles that resilience, holistic support, and well-being play in performance and quality of life.
